New standards in UK Interview Rooms

Various UK police forces are considering a move from analogue to digital technology for the recording of their investigative interviews. The old analogue machines are increasingly failing and can no longer be relied upon to perform consistently and provide recordings of a suitable standard.

Using Indico Systems technology, Leicestershire Constabulary is now benefitting from the first touch screen installation in the UK within their major crime division. Leicestershire Constabulary are now considering the next logical step, namely a move to the Indico Server platform. Using Indico Server, interviews can be retrieved within minutes of a interview ending – furthermore, interviews can also be securely monitored across the network.
