Children’s Safe house, Tromsø

The Children Safe House in Tromsø, Norway has chosen Indico Systems Group to deliver and implement the latest Tandberg video conference equipment into their existing Indico solution of 2 Indico interview suites specially designed for the interviewing of children.

With the Tandberg Videoconference unit connected to our Indico recording solution, the Children’s Safe House will extend their ability to serve their huge district of 138,000 km2 and 463,000 inhabitants.

A few months ago, the Norwegian Minister of Justice hosted a conference titled “Breaking the Silence”, targeting domestic violence and Child abuse, at the Children’s Safe house in Tromsø. Some thirty Ministers of Justice from the Council of Europe attended, and were impressed by the Norwegian Governments’ approach to investigating and preventing child abuse and domestic violence, and their willingness to take advantage of new technology to achieve their goals.
